Rooted in Purpose

A Handful of Herbs began in the latter part of 2019, during a quiet afternoon that would mark a turning point. The name came clearly and unexpectedly—A Handful of Herbs. It stayed, and so did the direction that followed.

At the time, I was balancing life as a mother of two, working in both healthcare and as a stylist. Like many, I was searching for a steady way to rest, to create, and to care for what was in my hands. I returned to candle making—something familiar—and began to explore the simplicity of working with what God has already provided through the earth.

What began as curiosity grew into something more grounded.

This work is not about trends or excess. It is about being led with intention—creating in a way that is thoughtful, honest, and rooted in what is good. Every candle poured and every plant grown reflects that posture.

God is the source of all wisdom, and His creation speaks for itself. Through this work, I aim to offer simple, meaningful pieces that bring peace into your home and remind you to slow down, breathe, and be restored.

Take a moment for yourself.
Be still.
Be restored.
Be renewed.

If you do not see what you are looking for, check back in time. This is a growing work, shaped with care and guided step by step.
